I absolutely love dipped marshmallows! The supplies are inexpensive and easy to get and they can be made in a rainbow of colors to match your special event! Make them the day before your party so you can set them out and take in the applause on the day of.
Here's What You'll Need:
Marshmallows- I used Jumbo sized ones in the 4th of July display above and regular sized ones in the other photos.
Wilton Candy Melts
Lollipop Sticks, Toothpicks or Paper Straws
Sprinkles (if desired)
To Make Marshmallow Pops:
Microwave Wilton Candy Melts in a bowl. I usually do 30 second increments, stirring in-between until it's all liquid.
Push a lollipop stick into your marshmallow, being careful not to push it all the way through.
Dip your skewered marshmallow into the melted chocolate and then pull it out. Allow the excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl.
If you want your pops to stand up, like the ones I made for the Fourth of July dessert table, have a piece of foam ready to stick the pops in so they can dry. Otherwise have a sheet of wax paper ready to set the dipped marshmallow on.
If you'd like to glam them up with some sprinkles do it now while the candy coating is still wet. :)
Allow them to dry before serving. (I usually just put them in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.)
